Indonesia: Domestic Component Level(TKDN)

Indonesia SDPPI(The Direktorat Jenderal Sumber Daya dan Perangkat Pos dan Informatika) issued Technical Standard of Telecommunication Equipment based on Long Term Evolution and/or International Mobile Telecommunications-2020. This regulation is starting from April 18th 2022. The major components are :

• Subscriber Station Telecommunication Devices based on Long Term Evolution and/or International Mobile Telecommunications-2020 technologies are mandatory to fulfill the minimum domestic Components Level TKDN of 35%.

• Certification application for mobile cellular phone, tablet, handheld computer, and Wi-Fi (MiFi) modem with Long Term Evolution LTE and/or International Mobile Telecommunications-2020 (5G) technology are mandatory to enclose legal proof from the Ministry of Industry with the achievement of minimum 35% of Domestics Components Level (TKDN).
