The Vietnam Ministry of Information and Communications has issued Circular No. 08/2021/TT-BTTTT signed on October 14, 2021 stipulating the list of radio equipment exempt from radio frequency license, technical and operational conditions. This Circular has many new points with an open mind in comparison to the old version, Circular No. 46/2016/TT-BTTTT.
Main point of change on Circulation
- 2400MHz ~ 2483.5MHz and 5725MHz ~ 5850MHz ISM bands can be used for remote control devices
- MIC allocates one more range for UWB device which is 7238.4 ~ 9000MHz (beside 4000 ~ 4800 MHz band at this moment)
- WIFI (6GHz) is not allowed.
This amendment will be effective from November 28, 2021 will be replace Circular 46/2016/TT-BTTTT and Circular 18/2018/TT-BTTTT
